20 Questions: Books Edition
I was “tagged” by Jane Ridgewood in a 20 booky questions.
01. How many books is too many books in a book series?
That depends upon the quality of the series. If there is a well written series with an in depth world and well written characters I fall in love with, then there is no upper limit.
But, if it’s not something I can really get in to, or can’t care about the characters and/or story, then one is enough.
Hate them… Because I want to know what happens. But that doesn’t mean I won’t write them or read things because of them. I REALLY hate them when I’m running late for something but I can’t put a book down because I NEED to know what happens next.
I like paperback because they usually fit in my bag easier. I like the larger paperback than the smaller ones. Hardcovers are good for signing and bookshelves.
The one I’m reading. Seriously, whatever book I am currently in to at any given time is my favorite.
I have no idea. I don’t read things I don’t like. The last book I couldn’t finish was The Alienist, which wasn’t bad… Just not something I could get invested in.
I haven’t really read anything with a love triangle, so I have no real opinion.
Michael Crichton’s ‘Dragon Teeth’. It’s not bad or anything, I just havent had time to get through it and I keep choosing other books over it.
I literally finished a book about 2 hours before I started this. I just finished Off to be the Wizard by Scott Meyer. I am about to start Pines by Blake Crouch.
Both Off to be the Wizard and Pines were recommended to me.
I have no idea. I don’t really check publication dates. Probably a classic, like the Jungle Book or Alice in Wonderland.
I’m not sure? Again, don’t really check publication dates. But I know I was waiting for the 6th book of The Expanse series which came out last November. So, either that or Dragon Teeth.
I like a few… Peter Clines, Earnest Cline, Andy Weir, Scott Meyer, Michael Crichton, and Dennis E. Taylor all jump to mind.
I can’t borrow books. I feel pressured with them.
I dunno…
Bookmarks. As much as I love the ‘well read’ look on books, I won’t artificially age them.
I’ve already read Ready Player One a few times. I could also reread The Expanse.
Sure. I used to read in nightclubs while my friends danced.
Either or. It’s fun getting different perspectives of the same story.
I am a very slow reader, so it’s generally a few weeks.
I’m just going to ditto the previous poster of this and say: Everyone who’s read this far.
Awesome answers! Thank you for doing the tag and again for linking me so I could see your answers. <3
Reading in night clubs? Lol 😂
There are o ly 2 things to do at night clubs; drink and dance. I don’t drink and I don’t dance, so when my friends invited me I would bring a book.
Ok 👌 sigh…I do all 3
